JOURNEYMEN

A group for men to learn and explore.
The Old Guard
My father is part of a men’s-only adventure group. Over thirty years ago, they started going on interesting trips, each able to bring a friend of their own. Once one had gone on a previous trip, they gained the privilege to invite their own guests in the following years.
Because the network kept expanding, it was self-sustaining. If you couldn’t make it any given year, the team could still continue with a trip that year because there were enough interested people to sustain it. This momentum meant that there was always a yearly option for any member to attend.
Because the network grew organically from friends-of-friends, the connections could be much tighter, as mutual connections and interests were high. This group was not founded on superficial networking, but rather from impressive and interesting men conquering rapids or climbing mountains together.
This Generation’s Journeymen
I intend to start this tradition anew.
If you are reading this, it is because you have been invited to be a founding member by either myself or one of my friends.
If this works anything like my father’s group, after the first few years, these yearly events always become waitlist only. I’d implore you to help make this first trip so as to build momentum for the group itself, but also to ensure your ability to attend in the future.
If you are invited by me, you are welcome to recommend a friend or two as guests for this first trip. Please contact me.
